On Returning

Hello? Is anyone still there? If you are, I imagine you're wondering what this "ABC" thing is that popped up as "unread" in your blog roll. It's been over a year since I've put finger to keyboard in this space, and while I'd like to wax poetic about being gone, I'll spare you. 

I return because I'd like a place to write and record, and this seems like a natural spot to do that. I make no grand promises of wisdom or wit, regularity or reason. I only promise to myself that I once again have permission to write here. 

So, if you're still around...I'm back, and I hope you'll enjoy whatever it is that I have to say.

Notice anything different???

The construction is (almost) complete! I still have a few tweaks I'm making, but I hope you enjoy the new look at The Start of the Alphabet!

The background is from The Cutest Blog on the Block. The header, sidebar labels and text color schemes are my own creation (with some creative borrowing from the background for use in my labels!) I hope you like it! It's definitely making me smile! (The next time I decide I need a makeover, I'll probably try to do it all from scratch...wish me luck with that!)

Also, I noticed when I logged into Blogger this morning that I'm up to 50 followers!
