I Go Back

Kenny had it right when he sang about songs that make you go back to a particular moment in time. While listening to my iTunes today, this song started playing.

And it took me back to my wedding day. We used this song for the entrance of the mothers and grandmothers, and I can't help but smile and remember that day whenever I hear it.

Our soundtrack for our ceremony (and the ceremony itself) was one of my favorite parts of our day. Hearing songs 7 months later that take me back to that exact moment (in this case, waiting in the bride's room for my turn to walk down the aisle) confirm that our not-so-traditional-but-not-so-out-there song choices were exactly right for us.
